How It Works
To become an Approved Driving Instructor in Ireland you must firstly meet the RSA’s minimum requirements. These are shown below:
Hold a full Irish driving license for a minimum of 2 years.
Be 21+ years of age.
Pass the Garda vetting check.
Once you’ve checked off all the above you can proceed with sitting your Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 exams.
Stage 1 – ADI Theory Test.
Stage 2 – Advanced Driving Test.
Stage 3 – Instructional Ability Test.
